The collective
The core of our collective consists of a team of seven people from varying backgrounds: from street theatre to design, from culinary to musical. The power of our theatre lies in creating an atmosphere in which the
audience is challenged to join in.
In that way they become an indispensable part of our show. They are treated to a mix of street and location theatre, with or without a snack and drink. Humour en improvisation with a tongue-in-cheek, socially critical comment, set the tone.
Mobile
The mobile part is our double-decker d'buster. Its function varies from theatre décor, ballroom, reception,
transportation, inside location, theatrical eating-place, lounge, movie theatre, dressing room and so on..
While the bus moves or stands still we bring rolling theatre, made to measure for any location and occasion.
In addition to that we also do mobile acts with a large variety of carts, wagons and caravans. Last year we did a show The Karmarette, in a ger (a Mongolian nomadic tent) at the Sonsbeek festival in Arnhem.

Background
The seeds of the Mobile Collective sprouted during the Cascoland project (Oerol festival 2004). Since 2005, the mobile collective is active in this way and works with a varying company of people on top of a core group.
In 2005 the Mobile Collective stand, mobile breakfasts and airbustours at the Oerol festival were a big success and at the Etcetera festival (Amersfoort), Robodock and Het Buitenland-festival (Amsterdam), the Mobile Collective was a valued addition.
